Who are Rohingya ?
Rohigya people who also termed as Arakanese India are a stateless and a country less people from Rakhine State Mynammar . There were an estimated 1 million Rohingya living in Myanmar before the 2016–17 crisis. The majority are Muslim while a minority are Hindu.
Described by the United Nations in 2013 as one of the most persecuted minorities in the world, the Rohingya population is denied citizenship under the 1982 Myanmar nationality law. According to Human Rights Watch, the 1982 laws “effectively deny to the Rohingya the possibility of acquiring a nationality.
An affidavit prepared by the government for possible filing in the Supreme Court said Rohingya refugees are a security threat and they must be deported to Myanmar, a stand that is likely to rile human rights activists.
The affidavit was not filed, and the government said it was ‘unfinalized’ and did not necessarily reflect its final position. A copy of it emerged in the media on Thursday after the government mistakenly served it to a lawyer who has moved the Supreme Court against a plan to deport the refugees .
Rohingyas are a minority in Myanmar’s Rakhine, where an intense military crackdown — likened to ethnic cleansing by the United Nations — has driven hundreds of thousands to flee to countries such as Bangladesh and India.
Close to 40,000 Rohingya Muslims live in India after fleeing Myanmar over the past decade. Nearly 15,000 have received refugee documentation, according to the United Nations, but India wants to deport them all. Last week, UN’s human rights chief criticized India’s decision as lacking ‘basic human compassion’.
No politics with Illegal Immigrant
The Rohingya issue turned into a political issue many major parties worldwide where Rohingya going from a shelter like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and many other countries. Will be a political issue much-taking interest to find their profit with the Rohingya issue.
Politics is not good for as much threat to national security concerns for the country no one wants illegal immigrants to their countries. it causes a huge loss in the future due to illegal immigrants. Many Indian political parties supporting Rohingyas without knowing the security concern only for the profit intentions to the next vote. Only to gain votes in the next election everyone come to politics in Rohingyas case.
Due to terror strikes in Europe, Australia started the deportation of an illegal immigrant from their country. Not a single Muslim countries looking to accept Rohingyas into their countries due to security concerns. Many terror cases around the world due to Rohingya. Many terrorist camps are looking for admission to their network give the training to become a terrorist. Many Rohingyas are living illegally in many countries become a security concern .
Rohingya was not a national citizen then why any country affords their living by cutting down their own citizens value. United Nations Security Council is asked India to make living to Rohingya to their country and not need to deport from their living place .
